Hell, everytime I get a cold it starts with a sore throat, I sound like Joe Cocker, but never smoked...
Additionally, the moment when you cough and have the feeling, that you vomit your voice box, or at least cough it in two parts...
To everyone else, who is sick: Get well soon!

Didn't want to open a new thread for this, but does anyone know the heat capacity per square meter of ISS radiators? The web is very generous with descrition of how the thermal control system works, but not so generous with detailed specs of the different components...

Not quite sure if this answers your question, Jedidia, but the Thermal Control System on the ISS is capable of rejecting up to 70 kilowatts of heat. Actual heat capacity depends on the material of the radiator (each radiator is a honeycomb like structure, bonded by aluminum). I don't know, however, what the predominant material on the radiators is. Here's a page on the Lockheed Martin site (the manufacturer) about the radiators, but a brief glance at the page didn't turn up anything related to heat capacity per square meter.

So I just got a letter in the mail today, I might get the chance to go to Japan

Cool! What for?
Boy Scouts, my council has been doing an exchange program with the Tokyo Area Council, IIRC.

It sounds pretty cool, I'd get to climb Mt. Fuji while being over there.

I still have to decide between this or an internship at Fermilab.
