Satellite mishap on the ground. Does anybody remember?

They did that during the THAAD tests at White Sands. Said it bled off about 1/3 of the missile's energy and was to keep it from flying into Mexico in the chance that there may be an accident, I belive.

Nice. Since we are posting fail pictures, this incident occurred on one of my projects late last year (I was the electrical engineer, not the structural engineer ). I know you see crane fail pics all the time, but having this one happen on one of my sites makes this one a little special:
