Yeah only 500K a seat...

I wonder how far back the space program would go if that thing crashes.

I thought it was $200k? They didn't up the price did they? If so, please list your sorce.

Baby steps man, they need encoragment not cynisism.

Oh no I guess the price is 200K. Last I knew it was 500K but well times are tight right? They have to lower the price

And no I'm not bashing that it is so much for the flight per person because of the company. Its more because space flight still costs so much, just hoping and looking forward to a much cheaper price per launch scenario. Just my fantasy I guess. :)

What "space program" are you talking about? It's private venture, if this doesn't work it's no skin off our backs.

Not a 'program' like the constellation space program, and I mean space tourism/VirginGalactic.

..and realistically is it ever 'skin off your back'? Really its more like the people that are directly responsible would be in a tighter spot.

That 200K will be down to 50K before you know it.

It's a Great looking design that's taking a LOT longer than expected to finish. Watching their documentary "Black Sky" made it seem so easy and fast to attain profitability. For my money, I want bigger 'vomit-comet' sized cylinders... more hugely windows... and a luxury car that gets really crappy gas mileage.

I heard that Richard Branson offered Capt. Sully Sullenberger of US Airways Flight 1549 a job flying SpaceShip Two!
I don’t know whether he accepted it though!

Well, let's see it's a jet-propelled vehicle that lands unpowered, sounds like a good fit. (Yes, a rocket is a type of jet engine, in case you're wondering...)
