And now, predictably, this turns into a hate-of-religion discussion.
How frustratingly annoying, that instead of defending against pseudo-science (read: presenting something as science, while having no scientific background to it), we have to instead focus hate on people's personal beliefs, in one of the biggest cases of hypocrisy around.
When said personal beliefs are prevalent enough to influence scientific studies and attempts to teach science, there's every reason to treat them as a danger to rational thought.
Popular pseudo-scientists seem content to sell their homeopathic sleeping pills, horoscopes and DIY dowsing kits to morons. religious pseudo-scientists are on a holy mission to replace all of actual science with fake models that confirm their moronic world views.
And no, I don't particularly care when a moron gets offended by being called a moron. If your views are moronic, kindly keep them to yourself if you don't want them laughed at.
