Problem SCN BEGIN_VC Issue

With my tug, I now only have a VC. The problem is when saving a scenario, a BEGIN_VC END_VC tag is put into the scn. When this scn is reloaded, the tug doesn't loading into the VC. F8 needs to be pressed before the VC loads.

I have checked a few other vessels, and they deal with the BEGIN_VC tags fine.

What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Are BEGIN_VC and END_VC valid Orbiter tags? I did a quick search through the Orbiter API and didn't find them. This means you would probably have to write the code yourself which checks if the BEGIN_VC/END_VC tags exist and switch the view to the VC if they exist.
 
They are default tags. The XRs and the DG produce (and honour them)
 
BTW there is no custom code in the XRs to read or write the BEGIN_VC / END_VC tags -- AFAIK the Orbiter core handles all that itself and decides whether to activate the VC when the vessel is created.
