Sensei Challenge @ Scifi-meshes

Over at SFM, http://www.scifi-meshes.com The Sensei team (including myself) have just launched Sensei Challenge Number 8. A test of modelling, texturing and design skills we are currently challenging you to build an Airlock.

The challenge was launched yesterday but if anyone is interested in participating you still have nearly 2 full weeks to complete this task. You can make it high-poly or low-poly so you can build something that you can put into orbiter if you want or go all out and try a high detailed mesh. It's always a lot of fun and you just might learn something new or make a really cool model for use in your own projects. All we ask is that you show progress in a work in progress thread. Prizes include medals for display under your SFM Avatar to prove you are the best and fame by having your winning work displayed on the legendary SFM header bar, where all the best space / scifi models are displayed.

Coolhand: For those of us not members of the sci-fi meshes forum, are those jpgs you attached to your entry post available online anywhere? I checked your image gallery, but a quick look didn't reveal anything.

I've posted the images here. obviously this is a very early stage of the work. Of course i can't enter the challenge properly since as a sensei i'm going to be one of the judges.

Too bad I am a coder, not a mesher. Also I think too much about engineering and not enough about design. Call me a Bauhaus fan. :lol:
