OHM Shuttle ECAL/BDA Aborts

This is the 2nd Part of  "Space Shuttle Contingency Procedures" tutorial. Part2  describes the porcedures to be followed in the event of an East Coast/Bermuda reentry . The pdf doc has the same structure as Part1 - "Space Shuttle RTLS". A scenario file with an emergency reentry at Bermuda NAS is also attached. Many thanks to David413, ky and Perseus for their addons.  Enjoy!

1) Added a new scenario for ECAL to OTIS ANG base
2) Added GPC Landing site Table for use with "Bermuda Islands" by   Perseus

3) Corrected  wrong information at Pag.17 about BDA base and GPC landing site (thanks David413 for pointing it out)

Thanks garyw, we are still a bit far away from a very realistic simulation, since we are missing some important features like collision detection, thermal limits (like DGIV or XR's vessels) and some Shuttle instruments and displays which could be very helpful in performing normal and contingency ops. Still I think it is nice trying to do things by the books instead of just dropping the Shuttle down to earth like an iron and see if you make the runway or not.
If (but I don't know if that is doable with the Shuttle Fleert) David413 will add those features to his wonderful Fleet...well.. I'll be the happiest man in the universe

MFD

Great work but how do you get all those diferent MFD's on at the same time.

Great work but how do you get all those diferent MFD's on at the same time.

Two ways:

1) use the virtual cockpit view (F8), turn on all the Shuttle MFD's and select what you want on each one.

2) Open the main menu (F4) select "Custom" then "External MFD" and an additional one will appear on your screen (you can open as many as you like but be aware your FPS might drop down quite a lot)

Some updates:

an edited release is now available on OH featuring the following:

- Corrected wrong information in the pdf. file about BDA and the default GPC Landing Site Table (as noted by David413)

- Added a new ECAL scenario (abort to OTIS)

- Added an edited GPC landing site table for use with this addon
