Problem Simulation launch issue

I select a scenario, click launch orbiter and get nothing but a blank window. Can anyone help?!

Does "blank window" mean: white, black, transparent?

Have you selected "HAL T&L" graphics card on Video tab?

Is it in full screen or in windowed mode?

Can you check whether there is an error message box in the background (by pressing ALT-TAB)?

What is your graphics card and other computer and system specs?
