Hmm... perhaps I should take a look at Blender again.

Difficult software that apparently doesn't have an import/export ability.

Great short film.
This is the newest in the series of movies initiated by the Blender Foundation. Only this time, this is a VODO release.

So if you like this film, and are able to, consider donating to it.

If you mean export to Orbiter there is Blorbiter. I believe it may? import as well. There is a bug with the script however, although I'd be happy to share the fix. (I just did some searching here at O-F)

Sintel is pretty good, yet I like Elephant's Dream a bit more (although likely for nostalgic bias). Nonetheless, I would like to congratulate the Blender Foundation and all affiliated with the film, the community as well. :tiphat:

I meant in general, but I suppose one could do a bit of messing around with converting to .msh first, and then importing into blender...

Here are just some of the import/export formats that Blender is "bundled" with:

3D Studio, AC3D, COLLADA, FBX Export, DXF, Wavefront OBJ, DEC Object File Format, DirectX, Lightwave, MD2, Motion Capture, Nendo, OpenFlight, PLY, Pro Engineer, Radiosity, Raw Triangle, Softimage, STL, TrueSpace, VideoScape, VRML, VRML97, X3D Extensible 3D, xfig export

There are more available with third party scripts, including Wings3d import, etc.

It actually has more import/export support than most other 3d apps, including the commercial ones. If the format you prefer isn't supported, there are apps that can convert between that format and one Blender can handle.

Hm... obviously I have been missing these import/export formats in a very stupid manner...
