Advanced Question Slingshots in IMFD 4.2.2

I have conducted flight to all 8 planets... and some dwarf planets and a fiew asteroids with the "course" section of IMFD. Are there any tutorials on setting up slingshots for example, slingshotting of Venus and then Earth to get to Mars

First, get the newest version of IMFD. The 4.2.2 version is VERY old and obsolete.

Second, you can start with IMFD Full Manual (available at OH). However, the slingshot tutorial contains an error when setting up the second leg of the flight.

The proper method is:

When entering the sling body's SOI, set up Target Intercept. Source should be the body you will be slinging around, and the Target is the next body on the trip. Open IMFD Map, and check the your PeT for the sling body. Set the TEj in Target Intercept to match.

Now, open Slingshot (leave Target Intercept open as well). Set it to "course". Now adjust the TIn in Target Intercept while watching the dV shown in Slingshot, when dV is lowest you have it set correctly.
