well, the last time ive played orbiter was a bit after 2010-P1 came out, and i was wondering if anyone came out with important stuff like actual multiplayer, stable, good collision, and 3d land compatible 2010, you know. stuff like that.

Plenty of things...see for yourself.

Noteworthy (IMO):
[ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5177"]Spacecraft3>DLL converter[/ame]
[ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5155"]Delta IV[/ame]
[ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5126"]Vostok[/ame]
[ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4864"]Videnie Orbit Drawing[/ame]

Honourable mention: [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5130"]HelloKitty DG-IV repaint.[/ame]

Sorry if I missed anything; that was just after browsing the last half-year in that list.

how about multiplayer? i heard rumors about stable multiplayer but i dont see how that would work, what with millions of clientside mods people can have installed

Don't know about multiplayer but Igel's Vostok is IMO one of the most groundbreaking addons in the history of Orbiter. It redefined what is possible in this amazing sim.

Good add-ons and textures and repaints, sure. Decent Solar systems, updated mfd's, more craft, scenarios, yep.

But "Groundbreaking" and "Game Changing", No. Nothing yet.

The D3D9 client by Jarmonik has greatly evolved. Lots of bugfixes, and in my opinion, the SC3/dll converter gave it a new dimension (SC3 vessels were not working, but once converted, they do !). :thumbup:

Almost any addon in Orbiter can be groundbreaking if you crash into the ground. BUT: there are breathtaking and spacebreaking addons out there: Vostok, Videnie, and promising current work in progress by Loru (mini-shuttle), Moach (G42-200), 4th rock & diogom (Soyuz 7k), and N_Molson (Roskosmos lunar lander), to name but a few.

EDIT: Ohh, forgot to forbid the above-mentioned folks to read the post. Too late...

Face's Orbiter Multiplayer Project has really moved on recently. There is a public server, details can be found here: omp.dyndns-server.com
