Curious as to the use of "air breathers" in Orbiter

Not to add more FS's to the mix (Xplane, FlightGear, YSFlight, MSFS and others), but it's nice to have the option to compare notes and not have to reboot, too. :)

Yes, it does work - the scenarios need to be given their own folder.
The modeling of the B-52 is good and acceptable, but not fully featured or aero-accurate in flight performance (It can dance in the air like a P-51 Mustang if you make it).

The X-15 is pretty darn realistic, however AFAIK. Need to figure out how to jettison the lower ventral fin.

The add on is found here: [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1329"]B-52 with X-15 ver2[/ame]
More info on it here:

and another much older thread here:

Thanks!

Have you tried the existing X-15 and B-52 in O2010? Do they not work?

Have you checked if it's listed in this article, and if not, and if you checked whether it does or doesn't work, report it there.

No i did not try them - I presumed that they wouldn't work. Will download and try them to see if they work as soon as I get "up to speed" on Orbiter. :)

Edit: see top post.

I'll go grab it tonight and see if the BUFF is flyable in 2010P1. Heck, I could make use of it for a 'history lesson' before my next XR2 flight.
