Songs to listen to while flying

Take Off - Final Countdown by Europe
Orbiting - Wavy Gravy by Sasha
Rendezvous - Emotion by Daft Punk
Deorbit and Reentry - Aerodynamic by Daft Punk

Here's some fine work from the Namco sound team. Can't figure out what to use it for.

As far as I can tell, nobody's said this, but I really enjoy the Moody Blues while I fly. To Our Children's Children's Children was actually written because the writers were so awe-stuck by Apollo 11, and the song Higher and Higher off that album is great during ascent.

I listen to the soundtrack from "in the shadow of the moon". Realy get's me in the mood for some orbital mechanics :P

Black Sabbath - "Into the Void" and "Planet Caravan" plus Deep Purple "Space Truckin" and "Burn" as Well as Pink Floyd "Echoes", "Astronomy Domain", "Set Your Controls for the Heart of the Sun"

I feel it fits the "Cowboy" mood of the infant stage of rocket science we're in.

Didn't read all 7 pages, but here's my contribution. Sorry if they're repeats:

Babble - The Stone
Babble - Ether
(Babble is made up of members of the Thompson Twins)

Just recently grabbed all albums of Muse. Great stuff.
Also just got the soundtrack to Solaris. Can't wait to hear it.

I wonder why Air on G is in the default install.. there's mostly no air in space.. though I get the G part :) I like this song very much, but it's better performed with only two cello's, imo. The abundance of strings kinda swallow the beauty of the melody.

In the 3+ years of playing orbiter, I've never installed orbit sound. I always have Itunes playing in the background. My fav's are Dark Side of the Moon, and anything British Drum and Bass.

For Halloween:

Enterprising Young Men - Michael Giacchino (Star Trek XI Soundtrack)

I put it in Orbiter Sound.
