Soyuz TMA CVEL 0.6 Question!

Hi guys, i was just modifying my ISS fleet scenarios as i ve experienced a bit trouble: First of all: I am using Mustard's Baikonour LC1 Pad5, the Soyuz Series and Soyuz TMA CVEL 0.6. I created Expedition scenarios for ISS fleet. In the .scn files, it's no problem to name the Soyuz Launcher, for example - Soyuz TMA-11 But i wanted to name the Soyuz TMA capsule after it is being jettisoned from the Launcher! When that happened, there is only displayed "TMAJ". Is there a way to change it? I ve tryed to change names in Soyuz.ini files without success. I ve even added the line "NAME Soyuz TMA-11" into the .scn file but nothing happened... Is there a way to do so? Thanks for helping out!!

I tend to name it TMA-xxx by renaming TMAJ in the .scn file. I've not worked out where it's picking up the TMAJ from.

My limited knowledge of CVEL tells me that you should be able to set the name of the payload in the .scn file.

Can't find any hints in the .scn files.

Well I found something in the config file in Config/M_Soyuz/Soyuz_tma :

Could this be it, where its getting it from?

I think I might give it a run. Havn't flown a soyuz in a bit.

Hi,

i've tried it out already and changed the line "Name=TMAJ".

Unfortunately, it gives me just a CTD at the point, when the Launcher jettisoned its payload in orbit.

Maybe, you have more luck!?

If you rename it in the ini you then you need a corresponding ini file of the same name in the config folder. Have a look and see if you have one call tmaj.ini in config\spacecraft3. Copy that file to whatever you have renamed TMAJ to in the .ini file.
