Includes:

- An orbital properties calculator:

Calculate velocities, eccentricity, semi-major axis and period for any combination of orbit or planet.
- An escape velocity calculator:
Find the surface escape velocity for any planet or moon.
- A geostationary altitude calculator:
How high do you need to orbit around a certain planet to remain geostationary?
- A launch azimuth calculator:
In which directions can you launch to rendezvous with a given spacecraft around any planet or moon?

very nice, I'll certainly be adding this to my toolkit.

Thanks a lot guys, your comments mean a lot!

It's good to know that it does actually work for other people, ant not just me :D

Thanks a lot.
This is a very handy tool.
Copy and paste does not work, when I want to copy the planet info into the calculator.
It forced me to do it manually.

Impressive calculator :D really nice addition to my tools

Thanks a lot for the comments Loru and Screamer7. Yeah, the main drawback is the planet info thing - it'll probably be the first thing I change if I make another update. Oh well, it's important to learn the numbers for the planets too :)

Nice addon..could someone with android knowledge make an application?there is one for Kerbal space program so it would be nice to have one that we can use with Orbiter :)

That would be awesome - but I'm sadly not the one with any android knowledge.

Hail George!

A lot of research must have been put into this. Regarding the planetary data aside from all the math.... Anyway, Thanks George. Impressive add-on. You really sacrificed a lot of effort into this. And I hope in any way, I can, too:tiphat:

Thanks a lot Vast Fury, your comment has made my day :) I think you'd be surprised at how readily available the research for things like this is - I found most of the data on the Internet, and I've got a nice book which summarises most of the maths (and gave me the inspiration to create the calculators in the first place!). Oh, and I lifted the launch azimuth formulae from the DG-IV manual (thanks Dan!!)

Anyway, I really enjoyed making them, and it's good that nice people such as yourself have found them :D

Just discovered this little helper. Awesome work, thank you very much!
