We have the LER surface vessel. I think the Space vessel might be interesting.

This is what I so far:

the EVa is made from under the solar panels in the rear.

looks good gatis when will it be ready to release i don't mind testing it :D

Looks fine so far.

As for the habitat, I wouldn't worry as there are plenty of space station add-ons to grab an ISS node from. I'd focus on that nebulous-looking solar-electric propulsion stage or that equally genericized possibly delta-IV derived cryogen-stage.

I'd also recommend fudging the center-of-mass between the two APAS ports. That way you can stick the SEV on top of something, stick a capsule on the other side, and go to work without screwing up the handling under thrust.

I think it would help if the model were more rounded, curved. It looks too angular.

Also, all three of the alignment petals on the IDS port are the same size/position, like with APAS:

Thanks. A little more additions. Not which solar panel to use. One artist has the blue one and then there is the yellow arm one.

I need to find a good image of the docking adapter as it is a texture.

It looks like there are 5 sets of arms. 2 white and 3 gold. That is going to be the coding issue and control wise.

You could use spline to round the edges of those windows for you.

I need to find a good image of the docking adapter as it is a texture.

Use my textures found here, they are free
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5384"]H-10-K Enterprises Gateway Station .dds Textures v1[/ame]

as is the LIDS adapter itself. You may stripout what you need and discard the rest.
http://h-10-k.net/downloads/gateway/module_cbm-lids adapter_v39.max

Just scale it to fit, .max scale doesn't convert well in it's native format.

Please dont let something so trivial get in your way. You've got a great start, I hope this helps, let me know if you need it converted to something other than .max.
Enjoy!

PS. I have all the source documentation you need for a proper APAS/ILIDS/IDSS ring. Start here http://orbiter-forum.com/showthread.php?p=280980&postcount=38 and scroll down for more. PM if your shy, or ask for the other files and I'll upload to my site library. At some point I'll get all my sources uploaded.

Thanks. can you send me the texture in dds or jpeg, bmp.

I am using anim8or so not sure about spline. I am adding the arms. 2 white and 3 gold.

I found this here:http://www.internationaldockingstandard.com/download/IDSS_IDD_RevA_Final_051311.pdf

So should I make it a texture or add the guide as part of the mesh? It might stick into the docking mesh though.

2 more images with the arms.

I can round the body but if I round the front area around the windows it distorts them.

Rounded. So any thought about which solar panel to use? The rectangle one or round one. I suppose the round one would fold onto itself. So you could unfold and change direction.

If you want tou can use my round solar panels.

Or, I could send just the arrays and animation if yould like.

Hi,gattis is there anyway you could give the arms,a fold out-in animation, that would be very cool, and, also you could add an attacment point to carry things, just a thought, but it looks great so far. Thanks:thumbup:

Side-Mount SDHLV

Or, I could send just the arrays and animation if yould like.

that would be good. I am trying to make the panel into 10 sections that will turn out from the center.

on the arms. yes the gold arms will just animate out. But I was thinking on making the 2 white arms in front to animate and be able to attach /grap things.

Kinda like a fan ?
