I have an interesting problem with this particular addon. Whenever I load one of the scenarios, the Warp is automatically set to 10x. There is nothing I can do to change this, it always stays at 10x no matter what. The scenario file looks to be in working order.

Has anyone else had this problem? And is there a solution?

It has happened to me too; I haven't 100% figured it out, however my guess is that it's a combination of add-ons. If I recall right, I was using the XR1 with some planes (737 or something like that) installed (maybe using spacecraftx.dll ?) and it went up to 10x wrap only. It did get to 100x for a brief time, just enough to see the 100x label and fall back to 10x. I even tried the stock DG and is was the same, just like Orbitersim was somehow altered.

Try a clean installation with Space Ship One only.

Hi Eveningsky,

If you are talking about my [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1897"]SpaceShipOne v2[/ame] addon; I added a build-in safety in the vessel module code, that prevents the timewrap to be higher than 10x (at rates higher than 10x, the WhiteKnight plane appeared to go stressed back when I created this addon).

However, you should be able to run at 1x or 0.1x, if not than this is very strange. I'd be interested to know if it works with a clean install and what particular addon causes the SS1 addon to run at 10x (not slower). I have tested the addon on an Orbiter installation with many other addons, but experienced no problems.

best regards,
mcduck

PS; I moved this thread to the appropriate subforum, if you don't mind.

I have been flying SS1 too lately as I am eagerly awaiting SS2 to fly. Does anyone still have the transparent cockpit .dds texture file for the SS1, if so could you post a link. Thanks for this great ship!

Thank you, I have added the cockpit texture-fix as attachment of this post. Sorry for not updating the camera position in a new DLL for Orbiter 2006, I simply haven't got around to update the whole thing with the new Orbiter (Sound) SDK, etc.

For SS2/WK2 some more patience is required (unless someone else brings one out earlier). BTW, if you have an account on the X-Plane forums, you can see a preview of the SS2 and WK2 models that the Orbiter addon will use. See this thread, on page 6/7/8 you can see some attached screenshots. I already converted the SS2 to an Orbiter model, however, I am negotiating with the author of this model, he wants to make a higher poly count model of SS2/WK2 first.

mcduck

Hi Scrooge,

Yep, the clean install did the trick. I have no idea why that happened...

Thanks for your help.
