i herd its it orbiter 2010, pressing P does nothing so how do you activate it?

You can find it in scenarios "2010 edition -> Scripts -> Space shuttle launch", just follow the instructions it gives and it should work.

Firstly, you could read the manual, or even just look at the scenario description.

The autopilot is a showcase of the new Lua interface. The scenario is under 2010 Edition>Scripts>Space Shuttle Launch. The description will tell you what you have to do.

Though why you'd want to use a Shuttle auto-pilot and miss out on the experience of the Shuttle is completly beyond me .
