Space Shuttle Ultra 1.25 Revision B development

Yes, and stowing them after MECO.

How's the latch work coming? Once this is done, would you be willing to implement the aerosurface/SSME TVC checks done during terminal countdown?
The latch work is mostly done, but I've been having problems with my computer lately, so I probably won't get anything done for the next week or so. (I've backed up all the important files)

That's some good news anyway. :)

Have any of you guys ever come across and photos of the mechanism on top of the GOX Vent Arm that actuates the vent hood?

No, only the inside of the cap, with the seals that cover the GOX vents.

BTW:
Not what you are searching for, but honestly too nice to be ignored:

Checked in the latch code; the talkbacks don't work yet, and the latch state isn't saved properly.

Any chances to add RGAs support? Flying SSU with non-spherical gravity sources is not easy and consumes a lot of RCS fuel. For example RPM is little harder because of pitch rate oscillation. Also maintaining attitudes consumes more fuel, for example maneuvering and maintaing OBSS Port Wing survey attitude.

Should be a matter of the IMU and the filtering of the attitude data.

The RGAs are disabled in Orbit.

I could really use the Airlock removed from the bay and made into an attachment, with a way to change the docking position. If it isn't too much trouble.

If someone else can update the meshes, I'll work on this once I finish with the latches.

What meshes do you need updating ?

I'm curious bout this as well. Currently the External A/L is its own mesh separate from both the ODS and Orbiter meshes.

Also: Once done with the latch code, could you check in a demonstration scenario?

The tunnel meshes would maybe need to be separated and made adaptable.

I thought the airlock mesh was still part of the ODS mesh. If it's a separate mesh, everything should work (although we'll still need multiple tunnel meshes for the different positions).

As I understand it, the possible mesh combinations should be: A/L+ODS; A/L; Nothing. The position of the A/L in the payload bay will be a mission file parameter.

Correct on both points. File names are:

-ExtAL.msh
-ODS.msh.

I have a tunnel adapter I did for STS-88, but the docking position and ODS animations might need to be changed.

Well, VAB construction is underway again! Roof section almost complete once again. Then it's back to focus on the low bay/transfer aisle crane again.

I currently summarize and write down the reverse engineering results of the IOP. I needed such a summary, by this maybe somebody else can also understand what the hell I am doing here.

The roof section over High Bays 1 and 3(east side of the VAB) is now complete and done.
