Space Shuttle Ultra 1.25 Revision B development

It should be possible to handle both cases. Unless anyone objects, I'll add KOST to libUltra so we can use that for state vector propagation.

Any use for a Enterprise texture?

I would like to have that Enterprise texture since we use Enterprise on my group.

Could also be useful for doing the ALT tests in SSU.

New shot of the underside of Enterprise. Don't mind the "HRSI" label on the wing, I'll remove it.

Donamy: Do you still have your Enterprise side textures? Mine haven't turned out that well, so I need yours if you still have them.

I'm planning to optimize some of the meshes, starting with the ETs. Any starting suggestions on which parts needs go/be optimized?

The shape, it looks too much like an onion.

What do you mean? The shape is correct. I have checked with multiple sources and they all agree with the current meshes.

I would suggest trying to replace some surface details by normal maps.

I am currently completely out of add-on development, my computer has only 5° margin between idle temperature and forced shutdown left because of the rapidly aging CPU cooler. Barely enough for browsing the web, if I don't follow links too fast. I can't even do proper orbiter tests without overheating anymore.

Will resume work once I have finished the big tasks in the next weeks... I am moving closer to my new workplace, once the apartment is done, I will try to get some hardware for coding again.

I exaggerated the lines, but you may see what I mean.

Could anyone add on screen display of the orbiter PLB camera pan/tilt angles? I need to double check some things and I can't do it without the camera pan/tilt angles.

If you uncomment lines 5430 and 5431 in Atlantis.cpp it will display the camera angles.

Thanks. I have noticed a bug with the PLBDs. They don't stop driving when you put the R13L PL BAY DOOR switch to STOP as they should. In order to stop the motion of the doors you have to take both PL BAY DOOR SYS switches to DISABLE.

I'll take a look at this.

PLBD issue should be fixed now.

Yes, it has been fixed. No issues now. How about upping the default DAP deadbands? It has already been established that the current default ones are unrealistically low and very propellant inefficient.

Another bug: It seems like the PLB camera tilt angles are 90°s off. 0 tilt should have the cameras looking along the orbiter X axis not the Z axis. Pan angles are correct though.

So launch pan/tilt angles for the PLB cameras are 90/0.

A question on the SRBs: Which file/line specifies the offset for the SRBs to be attached to the ET?

I think it is in Atlantis.h
Checked and there's nothing there. I tried altering the offsets listed in Atlantis_defs.h, with no change.
