Launch News SpaceX Falcon 9 v1.2 with SES-9 March 4 2016

I give in, is it back on?

N.

Strongback retracted. Internal power, armed, ready to roll...

Range GREEN! Go for launch

... and l'abort!

FAILED TO LAUNCH

... countdown went right to zero, candles lit, and then no launch.

hmmm. Right as I went to full screen on the browser. I should have kept with the streak.

Another night wasted to watch SpaceX scrubbing launches intensively.

How can you?! The rocket was running on internal computers only, not a cluster of web-servers!

Hey as a sports fan, you should know, you always respect the streak.

Well, it kinda reminds me of the shuttle... they are fast approaching shuttle levels of scrubs.:shifty:

The shuttle rarely scrubbed more than once per day.

Maybe that's why some say SpaceX is special.

I really wonder what caused the final second scrub before lift-off. Must be something engine or propellant subsystem related.

Update from the technical commentary: we are not scrubbed yet. 51 mins left in the window.

I have never seen a rocket re-launch attempt after a safe-abort post T-00:00:00.

Somebody accidentally hit "T", and the time-warp threw off the computer?

They did not scrub, it was just a termination of the Terminal Sequencer (F9's version of the Ground Launch Sequencer). Any failure past T-31 seconds would result in a cut-off for the GLS.

Well, what follows is procedurally a scrub. If you abort that late into the launch, you need to get back to an far earlier step in the launch countdown.

The shaven dude calls off the webcast for the night, then all this, then scrub.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Instead of trying to land their stage on the barge next attempt, they should track down that boat and attempt to land on that.
