I was orbiting earth around 300km at time acceleration 10X when suddenly, my computer froze! 10 seconds later, it unfroze, but instead of a nice prograde orbit, I was spinning out of control! Can I get help fixing this?
the problem is in the time handling in orbiter, if you are at 10X time warp and you lag for 1 second, the autopilot will effectivley hold your RCS firing however they were at the instant of lag, for a further 10 sim seconds, causing rapid rotation
i dont believe there is a way around this, just use quicksaves and ensure that you quicksave after every major burn to prevent loss of work
There is a button to eliminate all your angular rotation from the vessel's entry in the scenario editor. It's under the "Angular velocity" page, surprisingly.
It can be a bit of a cheat, but you only wind up spinning helplessly like that as a result of computer frenzy anyway, so rectifying the situation with that doesn't seem too bad.

Thanks! This is exactly the kind of fix that I was looking for. I shouldn't be surprised, this is the quality answer I always get at orbiter forum!:tiphat:
