Project Starting gunship with...GUNS!!!

Hiya. Like I mentioned in my 'Meet and greet' post, I've been inspired recently by downloading Orbiter and enjoying some fantastic models!

I am working up a gunship. It's going to be fairly big, and the larger weapon you see in progress here will be mounted on a swivel under the ship - meant to be enough firepower to 'bust' a planet when combined with several other gunship's identical weapons firing concurrently. Meant to be enough firepower on it's own to 'bust' a capitol ship.
Having fun in Anim8or, will keep ya posted.

Lol, you kind of have to use your imagination as far as realism goes.

I'm 50% hack modeler and 50% dreamer, and 100% science FICTION! :cook:

My stuff is more eye candy than anything else.
Fun to fly, nice to look at, and not much else.

Fun being the key word.

Yaw, my reality is well armed.
Now that I know how to merge scenes in Anim8or I can import a decent older spaceship mesh into this mess and start putting it all together and refining everything.
I'm a tinkerer, I think I have more fun building this stuff than flying it.
