Hello,
I remember, in older versions of Orbiter, that i can keep the shuttle Aoa (40 degrees and less in the last phases of reentry). I don't remember exactly which addons i used, i think shuttle fleet and, for sure, Glideslope. I remember very exciting manual reentry only looking the "tape" parameters in Glideslope while it helps me to keep the right Aoa, even during s-turns.
After long time, i installed 2016 version and tried with the stock shuttle but, as the older stock shuttles, no way tho keep high Aoa as i touch the thicker atmosphere. Do exist any shuttle add-on on he 2016 version that could help me ?
By the way: in this version, the only way to reach a stable orbit before finish the fuel with stock shuttle, is to follow the standard ascent path but some kilometers below it, arriving to touch a (my opinion, i don't remember the real shuttle ascent path, and anyway, i don't know if the atmosphere layers in Orbiter are realistic in every part of them) too dense atmosphere in the last seconds, the ones when the trajectory begin to descent until the last "kick" that give you a positive rate of climb that bring you out of dense atmosphere, before oms2 burn. Is this normal ?
Thanks for your attention and sorry for my english.
