Question Strange Trajecotries in IMFD 5.1g

Uhm, I never targeted a Jovian moon in that scenario.

Also, I did set the time compression back to 0. I even exchanged vessels, rebooted MFD and reloaded the scenario (with removed Pluto+Charon) and the strange orbits remain in place. However, as being said, these orbits are NOT the Jovian moons in reality. I switched camera to Jupiter, zoomed out and all moons are in their orbit as they are supposed to be. Apparently it's just IMFD that thinks they are not.

Yes, I know you never targeted a Jovian moon, what I was saying is that the "glitch" is only a real problem if you ARE trying to target a Jovian moon, and relying on Map to perform a direct intercept or something.

It will take a few minutes for the moons to return to their correct positions (in Map) once you've slowed time compression - it won't happen instantly, but it always does for me eventually. You may get different results.

BTW, the only way to fully "re-boot" IMFD is to close Orbiter altogether - including the Launchpad. IMFD seems to retain some data otherwise.

Sorry, misunderstood that. And yes, that would be a problem indeed.

Hmm so far they did not reset, and I waited quite a bit.. But I will see if that changes...

Did that, too. No change :(

EDIT: Correction. Now that I have checked back, the strange trajectories are gone. But no further restart was done, I just let the simulation "idle" for about 30 minutes with no time compression.

So problem solved, for now. Thanks for all the help, you guys :)

Well, as I said, you may get different results. It's possible that you may need to close IMFD and then save the scenario. Unfortunately, that means losing your course info, so make note of the TIn date (in Target Intercept) so you can recreate the course when you restart.
