Nope. Atlantis is still in the VAB: She will be moved back to OPF-1 late second shift tommorow.

Doh!

Dave, you're always one step ahead of me:speakcool:

Crew is inbound for the SLF. There's three T-38's en-route right now with arrivals around top of the hour. So keep an eye on NASA TV!

-----Posted Added-----

The first three T-38's are now on the tarmac at KSC. Expecting the final two any moment now.

F-16 sat casually in the background. Why is there one of them there? Is there a military presence at KSC?

And the final two T-38's are now on the tarmac. That's the entire flight crew. They will now say a few words before heading off to the O&C Building.

S0007 CTS have been performed. CGLS have set the countdown clock at T-43 hours and holding.

-----Posted Added-----

CGLS have now started the countdown clock at 317:0300:00 UTC. T-43 hours and counting. Sequence 14 of S0007 is now in work.

The MMT met this morning and reviewed the status of various open actions and issues from the FRR. There's no open constraints so they decided to give a GO to continue the countdown. Right now the clock is at T-29:40:00 and counting.
Next hold is at T-27:00:00.

Next event up is loading of the PRSD cryos tonight. RSS Rotation is tommorow night at 11:30 pm EST.

A cold front may be a problem.

Now at T-27:00:00 and holding for 4 hours. Now preparations to load the liquid oxygen and hydrogen into the Power Reactant Storage and Distribution(PRSD) storage spheres in the Endeavour's midbody will begin with LOX loading starting at 7:30 pm EST tonight. After that, the LH2 loading will begin.

Here's NASA's estimates of the likelihood of launching as currently planned, based on weather:

Fri: 60% chance of launch
Sat: 40% chance of launch
Sun: 70% chance of launch

what's the launch times in GMT ? I think its about 1am on 15th November but I am not sure

Just got this in my inbox:

NASA TV to Air Clean Feed of Endeavour's STS-126 Countdown

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- NASA Television will provide a continuous clean video feed on its Media Channel of space shuttle Endeavour in the hours before its 7:55 p.m. EST liftoff on Nov. 14.

Beginning at 2:30 p.m., video will show one stationary wide shot of Endeavour on Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The feed will include live audio of communications between launch controllers and the shuttle but not the commentary airing on NASA TV's Public Channel. NASA TV commentary will air on both channels beginning approximately nine minutes before the scheduled launch time at the conclusion of what is known as the T minus 9 minute hold in the launch countdown.

During the shuttle's 15-day STS-126 mission to the International Space Station, the crew will deliver supplies and equipment necessary to double the station crew size from three to six members and conduct four spacewalks.

Now at T-27 hours and counting. PRSD cryo loading will soon be started.

My god i was on the edge of my seat.
Why? They had nothing discuss! All the various departments met with the Mission Management Team(MMT) presented their various things and recommended a GO for launch. Not a single dissenting opinion was voiced. Everyone was ready.

The only ones who had anything to present was the Orbiter Project Office(OPO) with a very minor problem with MDU CRT2 that had a power up problem on the pad. And they recommended after throrough troubleshooting a "fly-as-is" as the problem only showed when the MDU was powered up using a special sequence only used during ground processing and not in flight. And if it were to hard-fail on-orbit, they have spares and can switch it out easily through a certified In-Flight Maintenance Procedure(IFM).

So not much discuss. They broke up the meeting after just an hour which for MMT meetings is incredibly short as they can go on for hours.

PRSD cryo loading should have wrapped up by now. The S0007 schedule shows a scheduled completion time of 10:30 pm EST which was 2 hours ago and that was the completion of LH2 loading.

The countdown clock should enter an built in hold in about 90 minutes at 2 am EST. That would be the T-19 hours hold which will last for 4 hours and the clock should begin ticking down again at 6 am EST.

To sum things up these are the holds remaining in the countdown until T0:

T-19 hours: 4 hours
T-11 hours: 13 hours, 30 minutes
T-6 hours: 2 hours
T-3 hours: 2 hours, 30 minutes
T-20 minutes: 20 minutes
T-9 minutes: 40 minutes if going for beginning of the window, 45 minutes if going for in-plane time, 50 minutes if going for the end of the window

Little thing called sarcasim.

Also did anyone noticed that Jay Barabe or however you said it was there, gee i thought he'd retired.

Now 34 minutes into this 4 hour built in hold at T-19 hours. The next major event will be the OMBUU demate and stow for launch from the port side midbody of Endeavour which is scheduled to occur as of this writing(2:30 am EST).

--ENDEAVOUR PROCESSING LATEST--

NOTE: This thread has now been made a Sticky thread in the Space Flight News section...

Here's the latest on Endeavour:

. The problem with the CRT2 display has been determined not an issue, and is cleared to fly. The problem only occurs during CRT2 startup, and as startup will not be required during the mission, the problem will not be an issue during that time, as the actual CRT operation is not affected.

. The RSS is due to be retracted tonight

ISS news:

. The Progress 30 is scheduled to undock from the ISS on Fri 14 Nov. A new Progress will launch from Baikonur on Nov 26 & dock with ISS on Nov 30.

. The Expedition 18 crew have finished the pre-pack activities for STS-126, and the Quest airlock has been processed & is ready to use.

. All the ISPR's (International Standard Payload Racks) that need to be moved have been relocated from the Destiny lab to either the JPM or Columbus. Much space is now free inside Destiny for the new ISPR's arriving inside the Leonardo MPLM on STS-126. The new ISPR's include a galley, a water recycling system, and new exercise equipment (to be located inside Destiny) and also some new crew quarters (to be located inside Harmony).

. ESP-3 has been relocated to on top of the MBS

. The ISS program are considering asking for a 1 day extension of the STS-126 mission to evaluate go/no-go decisions for 6 person crew capability. This decision will not be made until FD10.

The STS-126 astronauts yesterday flew the STA (Shuttle Training Aircraft) to practice landings.

Weather still presents an issue. If STS-126 does not launch as planned on Friday, it's next launch window will be on Monday.

For more info on the activities of the STS-126 mission, see these videos:
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts126/news/animations.html

Launch is still currently planned for Nov 14 @ 7.55pm EDT (Nov 15 @ 00.55am GMT/UTC)

As of now, there is only 1day 10hours to go...

GOOD LUCK ENDEAVOUR!!!!

PRSD cryo loading was completed at 3:23 am EST this morning. No issues are in work. RSS retract tonight at 11:30 pm EST.

Latest on the Wx:
Friday: 70% chance GO
Saturday: 30% chance GO

Just a few minutes ago the Gaseous Oxygen Vent Arm(GVA) was extended in support of tommorow's ET tanking operations. The actual vent hood though, will be lowered over the nosecone of ET-129 shortly after RSS Rotation to PARK is completed.

Right now in the T-11 hold. Hold began as planned at 2:07 pm EST. Currently there no problems or issues in work that would prevent an on-time lift-off tommorow at 7:55:34 pm EST.

The sun is setting on KSC and the Pad A high-power Xenon lights have come on.

Just a note on RSS Rotation: it is frequently delayed for one reason or the other so the 11:30 pm EST time is not set in stone.

They have 6 hours of buffer time for moving the RSS, so the RSS must be rotated by 5:30 am EST in order to make tommorow's launch window.
