Plain and simple CTD upon startup on a clean install of Orbiter. Anyone else have the same problem? Any solutions?

Edited:

PS: I have all the files necessary to run this addon, even the msvcrtd.dll

Post your log please.

EDIT: I tested STS on a clean install and only the bare minimum to have it work and it was fine.

EDIT2:Make sure you installed everything in the correct order.

01 LC39-EAFB 2006.3 - Hi-Res
02 RunwayMarkers2006
03 launch_pad_lights by Brain Jones
04 ShuttleFleetV4.0.1
05 GPCMFDV4.0.5
06 STS_Payloads_version2.01

Could you post your Orbiter log for when it crashes? Should be right under the Orbiter Icon in your Folder.

Here's the logs:

hmmm... No help there. I would suggest to install the add-ons again in the order posted above and try it again. And if it still CTDs then post the log right after.

EDIT: Also, which scenario are you using?

Also, You need two additional dll libaries.

msvcp71
msvcrtd

Just unzip these two files into the windows/system directory.

Again, I have installed all the necessary .dll's. If not, Orbiter would've let me know by an error window (I have vista). I installed all the addons as listed and ordered.

The Scenerio I used is the STS-5 mission in the STS Payloads Scenerio.

EDIT: I do have trouble loading any LC39-EAFB 2006.3 - Hi-Res Scenerio as defined from the readme. (I get CTDs)

Have you got installed Hi-res KSC?

Redundant post.

STS Payloads used to use the default PAD39 and tiles. Request were made to use slats pads and because slats latest pads need the hi-res ksc tiles and the night light addon to function correctly, installation of STS Payloads became a bit more complexed. With the upcoming SSU and its own pad39, the above addons may become obsolete with future releases of STS Payloads.
