"Sun glare effect" hidden text in Orbiter Launchpad

Using the Window Spy tool that comes with Authotkey on the Orbiter Launchpad, I found there is the hidden text "Sun glare effect". What could this be? A hidden/incomplete feature with no checkbox?

Try Orbiter 2005 and you shall see. This feature has been deactivated, it sort of lit up the black background of space a tad as soon as the sun was appearing within the field of view.
