It was very pretty, but sunsets tend to be. Shame I hadn't a wider lens, all the Northern horizon had those backlit red clouds.

Well, the sun is behind them, and I didn't use a flash...!

Edit: ah, the light dawns, the suns is lighting the underneath of the clouds? I thought it was coming through the clouds.

Strange you say that, we started getting these sunsets after Mr H. Bosch moved into the village. He says he's a painter, but I haven't seen any of his stuff yet. Spends a lot of time in the fields looking at the cattle and sheep, so I guess he's a landscape man?
He's volunteered to do the village fete posters this year, says "It will be out of this world", I think that's what he said, his accent is a bit thick.

p.s. village fete is a bit pretentious, more a car-boot sale with a disco(one ABBA CD). The long Winter nights just fly-by...
