Flight Question Taxi to runway / how to add cargo

How do you take your winged spacecrafts to runway from hangar? Do you use main engines to start the movement like I do?

Also one more question, do you spawn your cargo in your hangar next to your space craft and load it by hand or just spawn it in the cargo bay?
 
Typically yes, I just "burp" the main engines and ground taxi to where I want to go. There is a module written by hielor called "nosewheel turn" that really helps when steering big craft around.

As for loading cargo, generally I just spawn it in the cargo bay when using the XR-5.

I use UCD and attach a tow truck to the space craft then tow it to the runway.

For rockets I use the scenario editor and imagine it's a remote MLP type device for moving rockets from the VAB to the pad. :lol:
 
For XR-5 and other large winged vehicles I use crane (soon on OHM):

For smaller spaceplanes (XR-2, DG) I use Spaceplane Processing Facility (I'm taxiing to inside and use payload manager/scenario editor to load cargo):

A tow truck was mentioned? Where do you get one of those?

With UCD and some messing around it's possible to get it to tow an XR-5, XR-2, DG, etc.
