[IT] Term for parachute landing flare in Italian?

So at the skydive center where I jump, we have a new student, Luca from Milan. He's having some minor problems with his landing flare, and realized he doesn't even know of an adequate Italian word for this all-important part of a canopy flight.

Any of our Italian friends out there have a suggestion for the most appropriate Italian approximation?

According to Italian version of Wikipedia the term for aeronautic flare is [ame=http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richiamata]either richiamata or just la flare[/ame].

I'm reading some docs from the "italian parachute sport federation", and they clearly speak of:

- flare (the same english term is used in Italy, with either articles "il" or "la"...we don't know its genre);
- scivolàta translation of "swoop" (which I understood is a maneuvre preceding the flare).

Richiamàta, as Orb says, is also a good translation for the term "flare".

In helping your italian jump-mate, you could also use the translation of AoA, "angolo di attacco", which is changed by the flare.
