I encountered a 502 when posting to a thread, and am trying to see if I can get it to happen again. The mods can delete this when they see it, I'll know if I need to file a bug or if it was a one-off as soon as I've posted.

I had it yesterday as well.

EDIT: but not now.

Same here:
Every (forum-) post ends in "502 bad gateway (cloudshare)".
A resend of the page request results in "post already posted", and then the re-direct works.

Hmm,...maybe not every post. The last (quick reply) worked fine.
I'll try an "advanced post" next...

This is the "advanced post" test. Results will follow...

Nope, last "advanced" post did well, too (<me_wondering/>)

I had the same in 1 of 2 posts (190716, 11:25BST). I notice currently 1099 guests. Another (D)DOS attack?

I don't think so, because there are many more (regular) users indicated online, so it seems something has changed in the counting of visitors.

EDIT: ....and back on topic, I got another 502 just now.

I suspect these issues are more in response to the changes I've made in the last 48 hours as a result of the continued DDOS attacks. The 502 error page is shown from Cloudflare now, helpfully demonstrating that all their kit is fine and the error comes from our systems (thanks for that, guys).

I'm tracking the issue down in the server logs. It seems to happen when posting from the "Advanced" page rather than the quick reply box, though.

There's another odd issue where if you quote someone, and go to the advanced editor, the WYSIWYG editor just kind of barfs. You can edit the post in raw mode, but not WYSIWYG.

503 error sometimes since yesterday, sometimes double posts.

N.

Still getting the 502 error. When I first got it I thought it did not post but it does
