The Dragonfly and Space Station Building - Why?

How often do you use the Dragonfly?

Or you could have a control system that senses the vehicle is not responding as comanded and throttles up and down the appropriate thusters. For instance, If you command a starboard linear acceleration and the vehicle starts to yaw due to the extra mass on the docking port, the attitude control system would feed this sensed yaw motion to the flight computer, which would compensate by altering the thruster scheme.

Ah! This thread is making my head hurt... even worse, I gave birth to it... it's so embarrassing when your kids are smarter than you are.

EDIT: Oh, ok, I get it now!

Here's my two cents: Perhaps, in the future, when space flight really takes off, craft (such as station modules) would hold data on their mass and centre of gravity, which is then transmitted to other craft (such as the Dragonfly) when docked.

Hah-zah! No complicated solution for you!

I personally just stick to Orbiter for enjoyment, and if I'm having too difficult a time figuring out one little ship, I just forget about the ship. I just stick to the Shuttle Fleet when it comes to "realistic" station building. None of the complex buttons and knobs and, best of all, an RMS.

I been playing the the Dragonfly a bit now myself and I am thinking of trying out the station building stuff. If your actually going to be assembling parts for say a refuel station and u wanna build one that works is there a way to make a simulated station or will i be keeping track of the fuel i use on a piece of paper

I never played with it, only a few minutes test

i never buid up an space station and the non existence of a main engine limited the use for me.
