I realized, as I write so many poems, I should share them with you.
The first one, was written on New Years' Eve, to honor my brother, and explorers everywhere

Curiosity
For all who have gone ahead,
Though adventurers and explorers alike.
They have been courageous and made out of lead,
Those astronauts have been alight.
Dawn comes from a new age,
Yet, those who go ahead have.
Their ideas will never fade,
Those who laughed, will face the last laugh.
Men and women alike have answered the call,
They see new sights and odysseys.
They have risen from never before, and will not fall,
Alike they have gone, for from ground to sea.
Yet a new generation is coming,
They are from all over.
Scientists and Mathematicians doing the summing,
Airmen flying and praying for Dover.
The Space Age is still climbing forth,
To travel to Luna or Mars.
They are together and berthed,
They care not for material possessions like cars.
Yet we rose further in the past,
Landing on the surface with men.
Their objects and history will last,
They fly in the sky like wren.
To space, our future lies,
We accelerate forth, like never before.
Yet people will die,
No man or woman shall ever be bored.
People's heroes will lay in our history forever,
For death and destruction, we will pass on.
Our fiery and patriotism will never be extinguished,
We are at our mercy, yet with every fall, there is a dawn.
