Hi all, I've been playing Orbiter for a while now (couple years) but I've only just started practicing re-entries. The problem is every time I get into orbit around the planet (earth or mars), and start descending, my thrusters go crazy and I spin out of control. The first time it happened I thought I had just put on an AP too far into atmo by accident and it went nuts. But it keeps happening, and I've made sure its not me. I make sure my engines aren't on, thrusters are set to OFF, and no AP (not even kill rot). Still happens. The last time I tried setting AoA AP to 2.5 degrees. I was at 130km altitude around earth, facing forward, AoA AP turned on, with BaseSync and aerobrake all set up. Then the spinning starts. It makes absolutely no sense to me, and it ruins every single flight.
I should also mention that this happens with both the XR5 and XR2 during re-entry to either earth or mars.
Has anyone had this happen? Does anyone know how to stop this?
