Make your proposals, what ships do you want to get a virtual cockpit. Ships with the most votes are likely to get VC first.

Please, do not suggest real spacecrafts (they require much responsibility and hard to imitate), military ships and XR5 (I like this vessel, but don't think that I can make VC for such complex spacecraft).

And if you want a VC for your own vessel, feel free to PM me.

can you add UMMU to your Total Immersion - Shuttle PB ?

Hello ! :)

First let me thank you for this great work you've done so far.

What about a VC for one of the best addons in Orbiter... The DG-IV !! ? :)

And also, could you take bigger screenshots when you post your VC's in Orbithangar.. ? :)

Best regards,

I think the landers made by GregBurch would be nice. here are the addons
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3608"]Local Space heavy Utility Lander[/ame]
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=3532"]Local Space Medium Utility Lander[/ame]

And the local space transport by him too

Hello VChamp!
Thanks first for your add ons. The are all very GREAT!
But I would also humble suggest some crafts that would be great with VC and UMMU.
1. As Jgrillo2002 suggest, the Local Space Transport System.
The two landers and the Gilgamesh Transport.
But there are two crafts I like alot too.
2. The UFO from Christophert
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1951"]UFO[/ame]
3. The ISSAPC, also from him
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2387"]ISSAPC[/ame]

Thank you again and happy orbiting!

How about Deepstar and it's landers?
They already have VCs, but they aren't active.
I'd really appreciate a .dll version of these crafts.

Hello, thank you all for kind words, I glad you liked TI VCs.

Considering that it's a closed-source DLL, you can't add a VC to it.

Hielor is right. I can make VCs for non-spacecraft.dll-based ships only if they are simple like Pegasus Ares or if I have a source code of it. I would probably try to make a VC for DG-IV or XR5, but it is unlikely that Dan Steph or Doug Beachy will agree to give me their source code. The same is with Vespucci D.

Even if I have a source code it must be written so that no big changes are required to add a VC. When I looked at the code of Dragonfly, for example, it became clear that making a VC for it will take months.

In one word, spacecraft.dll-based ships are more preferable.

I hope you dont mind me posting this here but I get a crash with Total Immersion - Pegasus Ares

Thank you for adding VCs to these great ships. Off hand, I can't think of any but when I do you'll be the first to know.

Wait ......... how about some VCs for those StarWars Star Destroyers ? That would be pretty cool.

Also, I'm still working on the USS Tarawa which doesn't have a VC. If you're intrested, I can send you what I have so far. It's nearly complete except for a very few external additions and textures.

What about the XR-5? It's the only XR vessel without a virtual cockpit.

See the previous comment about "only simple or open-source DLL vessels."

Also, did I mention that the Shuttle-PB is fantastic? :speakcool:

First I want to thank you for your effort. Everything you made came out great.

I agree with T. Neo, the Deepstar 2.0 would be a good choice for an active virtual cockpit and UMmu support. It already has a really good (but inactive) vc, so it shouldn't affect the visual experience too much.

Also every of Greb Burch vessels are a good idea.

It would be nice to have a new VC for Shuttle-A.
And a VC for the Dragonfly would be nice.

Not a specific suggestion, but a general one, when designing virtual cockpits keep simpit builders in mind. They use standardized computer parts. Have display sizes conform to regular LCD sizes, design the control sticks graphics to be like sticks on the market, seating like some racing chairs (which do look like they'd be right at home in a spacecraft). It can still look like a spaceship and be made a lot easier for those doing simpits too. ;)
