UMMUFA is an orbiter module that extends the UMMU functionality to every vessel in the simulation that has a docking port.Â*

UMMU Crew Management by Dan Steph is required before installing this add-on (An excellent universal crew management add-on).Â*

http://orbiter.dansteph.com/index.php?disp=d

Changes -Â*

* Crew information is saved inside the scenario itself! No more fussing with the extra cfg files...I have no idea as to why I didn't do this in the first place.Â*
* Bug fixes, ejection effects, minor changes.
* Linked with the latest release of UMMU (v.2.0)

For this release, the most important change is that the crew information is saved inside the scenario itself, so quicksaving/scn editor saving should work perfectly fine.Â*

Installation:

1. Install UMMU if not already installed (link above).
2. Extract UMMUFA package in the orbiter directory keeping the directory structure intact.Â*
3. Activate the module in the module tab in the launchpad.Â*
4. Launch the UMMUFA-Quickstart scenario to give it a test.Â*

EXCELLENT !!

This also appears to solve the need to define the location of the airlock on the selected vessel !
Great Job !!!

Pros: Totally Freaking Fantastic!!!
Cons: How can there be cons?
Review:
Some folk want to downplay the utility of peoples, but I feel that it really does add a whole new order of magnitude, imagination-wise, when distilling scenarios. Thank you sooo much!!! Some times I have problems with transfer crew to certain ships...they end up with new names and in space. Probably a bug on my end that I need to track down...I do run ALOT of mods. Thanks again for this needed add-on!

Pros: UMMU where there was none before.
Cons: Have to tweak craft that are already UMMU capable
Review:
This is too cool for words. A few keystrokes is all it takes to add crew to your ship. This really helps with the "immersion" into the missions. Fan-frackin-tastic!

It is a blessing and a curse in my eyes

Thanks for this add-on... works very nice!

one question.. is there a way to delete the messages that comes up in the left side of the screen??

That module conflicts with Thorton ISS.

UMMUFA module (or ISS code) is causing CTD when you are changing ISS attach point by D key (after PMA). So before making some attach/detach procedures i recommend anyone to disable that module. Access violation screen: http://omploader.org/vNGxrNg

Key commands are listed in the readme for this addon

I have a little problem with UMMUFA. When I select a crew member, do eva, cycle through docking port list - basically do anything that cause red status text to appear on the left side of the screen a fps for some reason drop by half when the red text appears.

Will do, after 3-4 days. Exams. BTW you can change the color of the text in the ummufa cfg file.

Doesn't seem to work :(

Hey There-

I'm really excited to try this add-on, but I'm having an odd issue. With the Delta Glider in the default scenario provided, none of the commands listed in the readme file work at all. Instead a few of the commands from the original UMMU addon work instead. For example, 1 and 2 keys select crew-members for EVA and the E key will EVA them. However, the "S" key doesn't give me a status report, and the M key won't bring up the create crew dialog box. Those are the only three keys that seem to work, and I discovered it quite by accident. Any idea what might be going wrong?

Try installing UMMUFA in a clean install (no other add-ons). Sounds like you may have installed an add-on which already added UMMU capability to the Deltal Glider.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a shot, but I don't think that's the case. The reason I went shopping for UMMUFA in the first place was because I wanted UMMU capability on the stock DG. ;) I think a clean install may be called for anyway, since I now seem to be getting regular CTDs when using UMMUFA (I've since managed to get it working on a limited number of vessels, i.e., the Dragonfly). Seems like it'll be an awesome mod if I can just get the darned thing to work.

Are you getting CTD's or orbiter freezing on you? If it's freezing you might need to run the UMMU patch utillity shipped with UCGO
