Actually, there is a section of the site for DG skins. It's a subsection under Spacecraft called "DG Repaints". I'm not sure if everyone selects the proper section when uploading their add-on, but there are 112 listed in there so far:

The purpose of it being a subsection and not its own section entirely is that one wouldn't normally browse the entire contents of the Spacecraft section (at least that wasn't the original intent) because it is such a large collection. Hence the subsections.

For a subsection it seems rather hidden to me as I cannot find it anywhere under the spacecraft section without using your link here.
