Upgrading UCGO 2.5 to UCGO 3.0?

Hello. I currently have the 2013 Christmas release of UCGO. I'm going to get the latest one and my question is this. Can I install UCGO 3 to my Orbiter installation which already has the earlier Christmas UCGO 2.5? Will it over write and be ok?
Also, will my current scenarios with UCGO 2.5 work with UCGO 3?

It overwrote fine on my install. You shouldn't have any problems.

Of course, I usually copy my working install and extract into the copy. That way, I still have my original.
