I was wondering is there or will there be anyway to build velcro rockets in-game?

I'd like to be able to do this as .cfg files confuse the hell outta me.

That's not very difficult.

You don't have to modify the .cfg files, unless you want to develop a new launch vehicule or change the parameters of an existing one.

Velcro rockets - and that's where, in my opinion, lies the genius of the addon - are built directly in the scenario file (.scn)

The best way to learn is to read the manual, which explains a lot of things, and to look at exemples of sceneries that come with the Velcro package.

It took me a few days to understand how the whole thing was working, but once you get it, it's a lot of fun !

By .cfg files i also meant .scn files they fall under the same category. I tried reading the manual but couldn't understand a word of it.

I would disagree with this assessment. CFG files and SCN files are different beasts entirely.

I believe there are some good tutorials here on Orbiter-Forum's tutorial page which will teach you how to manipulate scenario files to do what you want.

Yeah, don't get confused between .scn and .cfg files especially in the case of Velcro Rockets : some parameters can actually be directly set in the .cfg files ! ;)

I know they are different but im saying they are similar in that they determine what is happening in the game.

Well I had a go anyway I tried making an Energia with 8 boosters instead of 4 but the ones I made were in the same spot as the original 4. How can I fix that or is that a different problem entirely?

Darren

Edit: Nvm didn't notice they had different numbers for Parallelburn.

Edit2: Which number in parallelburn is the rotation on the vertical axis?

Edit3: Nvm again.

Edit4: Damn can someone please explain to me what number in parallelburn does what? I'm just playing around with the numbers with the booster going all over the place.
