OHM Venus Heightmap

Venus heightmap for Orulex + Level 8 realistic global textures.
 
(this version enlarges the heightmap resolution to 4096x2048 and corrects some scaling issues)

This add-on will give you real topography for Venus, based on data from the NASA/JPL Magellan Mission.    
The original data is low resolution, compared to Mars or the Moon, so the config file will add a random component to the actual altitude data, to give realistic results. 
 
I've also included a level 8 global texture from the radar intensity data, but inverted and colorized to give better results.
 
Required add-ons: Orulex
Recomended: MeshLand2 to see your relative altitude above the 3D surface.

Very nice. I was just thinking the other day how it'd be nice to have a heightmap for Venus.

Major update!

Increased heightmap resolution and detail, fixed global altitude scale.
I'm also including a matching global texture. Still not that impressive because the terrain data is quite limited. But now there's some depth to the surface features.

I think that the new global texture is as realistic as it gets.
