Is it possible to see a progress with the naked eye while it is trailing the ISS in rendezvous? I remember once I could see Atlantis near the ISS after undocking. I might try to watch for Progress 39 this weekend.

Thanks!

You can see it - I have seen it twice or three times, and it is so noticable that I once mistook it for the station itself!

The best one was the one that missed it's docking. It was possible to see both Progress and ISS with progress leading the ISS by a small distance. Very cool sight.

Anyone know if this will be visible from down here? Or will the orbit be to high north?

Darren
