Hi guys, I am attempting to write to my config for one of my meshs and using spacecraft3.dll to have MFD's in my VC. I think I have followed all instructions and tried to position the meshes correctly. They are 2 dimensional with four points and have 2 faces each. I have it in anim8or and am wondering what will the top left verticie (0,0) will be in anim8or? I thought it would be point 0 as I bring up the editor. Am I missing somthing here? Is there a more complete guide to making VC MFD's in Orbiter other than the main guide that comes with the software...
thanks in advance!
(Update)
I have pondered over this and decided to redraw the meshes that render the MFD's. For some reason, the old meshes did not render the MFD's and, after deleting them and redrawing new ones, they now work. I don't know maybe the old meshes where not true rectangles or not, they did have have 2 faces as required in the API guide and now the new ones have only 1 face, interesting...
P.S. anyone with this problem with the SpaceCraft3.dll, be sure to use the in game mesh debugger to identify the meshes in your drawing. Orbiter assings numbers to grouped meshes and that is what is required to have in your ini file. As you update your mesh and export it to Orbiter, the numbers will change lol, happy modding!
