There are tutorials about interplanetary flight in the tutorial section of this board (go figure :lol

Basicaly it is irrelevant for what trip the tutorial is, as it is the same procedure to get to any planet.
That only changes if you want to do slingshots, but that is something you'd want to learn later anyway.
Basicaly you have two tools to choose from. There is IMFD and TransX.
Finding tutorials is easier if you search for "Transx tutorial" or "IMFD tutorial".
Also there are numerous threads around discussion the differences between the two.
I myself am a TransX user and can personaly recommend it, as it is used like an extended TransferMFD and as such should come quite easy to you. I have no doubt however that at least one person will tell you to use IMFD and that he swears by it.
IMFD has some very great functions and is easy to use and even features autopilots.
You should check both out. What keeps me from using it on a daily basis is that you can not go fishing for launch windows with IMFD.
I also recommend getting a new TransX version as it now incorporates BurnTimeMFD functionality.
I used the Earth 2 Mars tutorial by Cpt_CryBaby with the DG to learn TransX. It is located at
