Been having a problem lately and not quite sure what to do about it.

I'm 1 orbit away from my intended landing site, ready to do a retrograde burn. I hold down the '+' on the key pad to start the burn using main engines. When release the '+' key the main engins stay on. I have tried the '*' and 'ctrl' + '-' to shut them off and it doesn't work.

The only thing that works is to hold down the '-', but that starts the retro thrusters and messes up my deorbit burn and when I release the '-' key the main engines come back on.

The only thing that solves this problem is to exit during the main engine burn and restart the current scenario. That give me back control over the mains.

Any help?

Thanks

Ted

This might be an issue with the vessel. What craft are you using?

A workaround that may help until you figure out what's going on - try hitting the * key on your number pad. This will set the engines to 0 thrust.

Also, not that I think you wouldn't check this, but I've found myself sometimes forgetting I'm in 0.1x time acceleration and wondering why the engines aren't responding or cutting off.

Hope this helps.

Also, certain DLL ships have controls slightly different from the default Orbiter controls, so if you're flying an addon ship, you might want to check the manual for it.

Sorry guys, forgot to mention it is the DGXR5.

I tried holding down the '*' but it has no effect.
