What a waste of 30 good Macs

I was reading about the incident on the news, and turns out this wasn't just some kid trying to cause trouble. It was a proffesional heist, pulled off by adults. They paniced when the alarm went off and fled. Seriously, how low is this? Stealing from a high school?

What dosen't make sense to me, Pilot7893, is when the alarm went off, why would they bother to dump them in a bin? Why not drop 'em and run for the hills?

Maybe the were putting them all in backpacks when the alarm went off, and they decided to just screw it and dispose of the others. But yeah, I've got a feeling this is gonna be on Worlds Dumbest Criminals.

Agreed.. Schools are not renowned for being top when it comes to security so I'd imagine that the alarm codes hadn't been changed for some years and it's normally quite simple to get the alarm codes from someone.

I think the kid who did this must repay with community service.
It'll actually be useful for the community/school.

Screw community service, that kid needs to be flipping burgers at McDonnalds for 6 months to pay off what he did. That'll hit home more than any silly community service.

They pay too much. A criminal doesn't deserve a job at McDonald's. Where I live there are a lot of immigrants who value jobs like that, and they give excellent service because they actually work, unlike the Beavis and Butthead types who sometimes work there.

What can I say, some people don't like being locked up in a school all day. Makes me wonder why he hates the school enough to smash all those Macs without even trying to make money off them.
