What accent are you?

26% Dixie. You are a dandy Yankee Doodle.

77% Dixie. No surprise there LOL -- "Your neck must be a just little rosy!"

Southern born
Southern bred
And when I go, I'll be
Southern dead

9% dixie, You need help digging out of the snow.

38% Dixie? I'm kinda surprised at that. Guess I spent too much time in Philly. Go Flyers.

Funny to see the German guys getting classified as Yanks, would be even funnier to see tham classified as Rebs, LOL.

I'm not sure if this quiz would completely 'work' for non-Americans. First because people from other countries would pronounce the reference words differently, and also because people from other countries don't really have 'dixie' or 'yankee' accents anyways.

Northeast US and Great Lakes, and west Coast -> damn this thing is good ;)

37% Dixie. You are definitely a Yankee.

44% Dixie. Barely in Yankeedom.

That'll teach me to watch PeachTree-TV (Ted's Atlanta superstation) every weekends...

... 96% Dixie. Is General Lee your grandfather?!

OK ... something must be wrong here. I know I grew up pretty much between 'Dukes of Hazzard' territory and the mountains of Virginia, but I didn't think I was that bad.

... although, I did go to Boston once to visit a friend ... he and I went to Maine to snow-ski ... I literally couldn't understand half the people up there ... my friend had to translate for me. LOL

Who knew there were so many different names for a sandwich or a paper bag?

My mom still calls them 'pokes' ... as in, "Go down to the store and get me a poke full of taters."

Even other Yankees can't understand Bostonians, don't feel bad.
