Space related stuff (that always comes in handy as references): a DVD called "The Wonder of it All." I'd never heard of it, but I gather it's narrated by most of the Apollo astronauts (I'll be checking it out after dinner), and the Alan Bean book "Painting Apollo."

Merry Christmas all! What a great Christmas!! The best gift of all was from my Mom:

They say she is a mix Pit Bull and Blue Heeler. She's about one year old. She was actually a stray one of my Mom's neighbors saw some guy dump out of his car. One day she wouldn't move out of my Mom's driveway when she had to go to work. My Mom eventually got out of the driveway and started driving down the road only to look in the mirror to see this dog chasing her down at full speed! Of course she had to take her in after that. We got her all cleaned up and cleared at the vet so she is now home finally.

I got a Sat-Nav, which I'll use everyday of my life.I got a few bits and odds and ends, which was quite satisfying. I even got a few seasons of Top Gear, my favorite show (even if it is scripted).

The best gift was having my family around. Since all of the kids in my family are now adults, this may be a rarity to get everyone together like that. It was totally worth the long drive.

• An X Rocker (which ALREADY stopped working and may need replacement )

• An 'iHome' type thing. (a dock for the iPod, with speakers)

• The 'Einstein Space Navigator' (electronic sky chart that aids in finding objects in the night sky)
