What do you use for Moon voyages?

I was just curious on what MFDs you guys use for trips to the Moon. I use the Orbit MFD and Transfer MFD. The basic and original way of doing it.

Depends on how I feel or how precise I'm trying to be, but I tend to use IMFD and LaunchMFD. On the return journey I always use TransX. However, I just finished a moon voyage using the old-school method to test my skills and found it to be quite fun.

TransX. Allows me to plan insertion into a specific lunar orbit plane (the one containing my space station, to be exact).

For me it depends on what I want to do.
When I want to do a prezise free return (no land on moon, just flyby) I use IMFD.

Normaly I use transX (I use it for almost everything interplanetary).

And when I just want to fly to moon I use LunarTransferMFD. But this is a little bit boring I think, because I must nothing do. I don't use it so often.

I also use it often. I think it can good make free return trajectories.
But I also often use TransX.

People still use MFDs for a lunar rendezvous and/or landing?

I just use my trusty Mk 1 Eyeball...and no, I don't usually use a fast approach...3 day transit time is good enough for me...

As for TransX being the way to insert into a specific lunar plane (for docking to a staion)...you haven't learrned the beauty of IMFD's Offset Mode, or the intricacies of using IMFD's PlanetApproach and/or BaseApproach mode...

Meh. I'm hardcore. I just point in the rough direction and use guesswork to time the burn.

And usually end up floating away into deep space.

Nah, seriously, I've tried IMFD and TransX, and LunarTransfer now, but I've never sat down with either of them to try to learn how to use them properly, so most of the time, I stick to TransferMFD and OrbitMFD.

It would be nice to understand the physics enough to be able to calculate it all by hand!

I use a combo of IMFD, areobrakeMFD and TransX for lunar missions. plan in TransX and autoburn in IMFD. Use aerobrakeMFD for the orbit insert arobrake (yes, I burn up in a direct re-entry and i run out of fuel if i do an orbit-insert burn)

Align Planes, Transfer, and Orbit. It's almost too precise: I crashed on the moon once.
