Question What kind of car do you drive or wish to own?

Peugeot 207 SW Tendence 70 kW/95 HP

Love it or hate it. But it is a small car with lots of space. Some people I know hate it, because it "tries" to look like a bigger car.
Well, its boot is certainly bigger than the boot of the average small car, while still being smaller than the average normal sized car. Good enough for me.

And it has a glass roof.

After two years, I still think it looks beautiful. I love my car. :)

Renault Clio Be-Bop 1.2L 60HP, max speed 165 km/h

Pros : Small, simple, efficient, very reliable, quite sober. 5 seats. Empty weight : 870 kgs. Very very common in France, garages always have spare parts in stock.

Cons : it's not a sport car ;). Aerodynamics issues over 120 km/h (like a lot of cars). Nothing like air conditioning, braking assistance... Performances drop down with 4 passengers, the tank (43 L) & the trunk full.

Mine is similar (but has 4 doors !) and has the same color :

I don't own and and drive a car. I don't even own and fly a Space Shuttle:rofl:

That's what I drive:

Light, cheap maintenance, almost no parking lot issues, no emissions beside the little CO2 caused by my breath, and makes me remain healthy and powerful. I dirve in any weather. I don't care about rain and/or snow.

I drive a Saturn coupe most everywhere. I like that the logo is the planet saturn.

Also sometimes go mud-bogging with my ford exploder. last summer the transmission ejected all of the fluid out of itself at Giant Sequoia National Park and I had to limp back to a garage 30 miles + away. in retrospect it was quite hilarious

Ford...Exploder? I would stay well away from that if I were you.

which serves to reinforce the acronym F.ords O.nly R.oll D.ownhill
(except Mustangs!)

I don't even like Mustangs, unless they're Shelby.

Would love to have a Shelby. Maybe someday, when my hair is all gray, I put on 20 lbs and I look like the token pre-retiree. :(

1995 Subaru Legacy 2.2.

That car will drift like no other!

Thinking about turboing it...

Getting my learners permit this year, so that means I'll be driving my moms car, a 2004 Chevy Malibu.

Ford Sport Trac, one of the vehicles most at risk for rollover, woohoo!

Things have changed since my last post in this thread. I went a while driving another hand-me-down, a Chevrolet Uplander. A minivan I don't care enough for to know the model year. Worst running-condition vehicle I've had the displeasure of trying to coax up a gentle slope.

Nowadays I've got my own sedan, a grandmother-blue coloured Pontiac G5. Sadly automatic transmission, meaning lots of unexpected downshifting up and down slopes and truly nerfed pickup compared to the stickshift. Nonetheless, I got it used at a fine price, no rust and so far no intrinsic need for maintenance. Last month I struck a moose calf with it and had to have many parts replaced (will be paying that off for a long time :blackeye:), but since none of my own parts needed to be replaced, I'm not going to let it sadden me.

Someday, my car will be either a 1970 Pontiac GTO coupe or a Chevelle coupe of the same model year. ...Hopefully.

2010 1.8 TSI VW Passat Variant,
I love this ride!

The standard BFB 120 kW engine or the Audi AMB 125 kW engine only produced for the US market?

I have a 1987 Toyota MR2 and a 1988 Kawasaki ZX600R, some reason I like 80's vehicles.
